What the roofs here are like

High Wycombe is the largest town we cover and its housing reflects a real industrial past - the furniture trade built much of it. The Wye valley floor and the slopes immediately above hold dense Victorian and Edwardian terraces, originally Welsh slate, with shallow front pitches, shared valleys and party-wall chimney stacks.
